The Upper Colorado begins its 1,450 mile journey high in the Rocky Mountain National Park. You begin your river rafting adventure just outside of Kremmling, where the clear gentle flow of the water invites you to float through a diverse landscape of meadows, valleys, steep rocky slopes and majestic cliffs and canyons.

Prepare to be awestruck; rafters will enjoy a variety of wildlife such as Bald Eagle, Beaver and River Otter through the canyon. With willows and cottonwoods lining the river and ponderosa pines, pinions, junipers and sage covering the slopes and an abundance of wildflowers, this truly is the most relaxing and scenic rafting trip Colorado has to offer. Highlights along the water are the Hot Springs, where you can relax and Jump Rock, which provides a fun experience for all ages.

The perfect adventure for the first-timers and families. This four mile stretch of Clear Creek River floats you through the historic mining town of Idaho Springs and class II-III Castle Falls and Wild Wild West Whitewater. Ages 7 and up and a minimum weight of 50 lbs.

The true Upper Colorado River experience includes a day of great rafting fun ending the day with a riverside campout. The second day will begin as any great day should with a camp breakfast and real cowboy coffee. Then heading back to the water for a lazy, day drift to State Bridge take-out.
